Trained by Australia’s finest trade mentors, Chris’s talent was recognized early when he won both Regional and National Trade Competitions. In 1985, he represented Australia at the International Skill Olympics in Osaka, Japan, where he was ranked 5th in the world for Cabinetmaking. This pursuit of perfection led him to serve as a Judge for Work Skill Australia, ensuring the next generation of makers met his rigorous standards.

After years of leading large-scale projects as a Foreman, Chris established Award Cabinets in Moorabbin. What began as a focused workshop has evolved into a specialized team of five professionals, offering over 100 years of combined experience in high-quality joinery and cabinetry.

Today, we bridge the gap between traditional craftsmanship and modern technological excellence. We utilize world-leading engineering Microvellum & CNC manufacturing processes to bring complex architectural visions to life with flawless precision.
